Despicable Bugs

ebook
This is a thoroughly nasty series of books aimed at a particular kind of person. If you faint at the thought of a scary insect – DON’T BUY THIS BOOK, or if you get upset by the knowledge that the world’s biggest killer is an insect, then go and buy a book about flowers. This book is really despicable. From a parasites that takes over a brain, spiders that hide in bananas and can kill you in minutes, to a tapeworm the size of a bus; this dreadful book is only interested in insects and spiders that can cause serious harm, either to humans or other animals. Benign herbivores are not included in this book. The light-hearted, humorous and downright gruesome text will hopefully encourage even the most reluctant of readers to finish this book, because it is so incredibly horrible. Each creature is simply illustrated (by the author) with line drawings; making sure particularly nasty features are highlighted. As well as learning about the creature’s more gruesome attributes, the sheer wonderfulness of the creature and their importance in the natural world will be told.
